How Recognizable Is Your Brand?

All businesses spend marketing dollars toward a variety of objectives. Gain new customers. Increase sales with existing ones. Promote a new product or service. Drive traffic to a special event. There are almost unlimited reasons to market your business and  those reasons change. Sometimes often. One consistent objective of marketing though should be brand recognition. Is your business presence in your community or within the markets that you serve such that when someone sees your logo/company name or even just a portion if it that they will instantly think of you? That question came to me last week when my 13 year old approached me to play a new game on his mothers iPhone. It is a "logo game" where the objective is to guess the name of international companies by seeing just a portion of their logos. It is fun and addicting and you can download it here if you have an iPhone. http://goo.gl/kTXbi    If (like me) you do not have an iPhone you can play a similar game here on your computer. http://goo.gl/b3ezr

While no one reading this newsletter has the marketing budgets of the companies featured in these games we should all strive to do what these companies have done and make our companies visually recognizable within the geographic/market areas that we operate within. Of course at Morris Marketing we feel like promotional products can help you to accomplish this. The personal nature and longevity of promotional products make them excellent tools for brand recognition. Give us a call to discuss ideas that can make your name and image the "Coca-Cola" of your particular market place!
