While most of you reading this know me few of you have ever met another individual at Morris Marketing who performs many much less public but equally important roles for you. I wanted to introduce you all to her today because it was on this particular morning 25 years ago that I made by far the best decision of my life and drove Christina Marie Hudson to a justice of the peace in Aiken SC.
We then made our way back across the river to a Red Lobster in Augusta GA where we had our first meal as husband and wife. Very shortly thereafter she became my business partner. In fact we were expecting our first child when I resigned a salaried job with an insurance company and she and I started Morris Marketing together. We were both scared to death and it was probably not the best idea ever since neither of us had any business or sales experience but it worked out for us somehow. There were many tough times, and there still are, but together we have weathered them all.
You are fortunate to have had her working on your behalf because in addition to all else that she does she is the one who makes sure that your orders are produced correctly and delivered on time. And I am especially fortunate to have someone in my life who is not only a great business partner but my best friend and a fantastic mother to three wonderful children.
