Much marketing, while intended to explain, actually confuses. We create messages that make our products/services sound feature rich. We add options and configurations to expand buyers choices. Unfortunately sometimes we take something simple and make it puzzling.
It is proven that when the brain is confused it will default to no. In other words, given too many options a prospect will lose interest or have trouble making a decision. Simply put...simple is best.
At MM we have always encouraged our clients to go with the simplest possible message. On marketing products such as the ones we offer this becomes especially important because of the limited image area. A logo with just a phone number and/or web address make a great combination. Give us a call today and have us create a few mock ups for you so we can show you the kind of clean and simple look we can provide!
NOTE: Much of the above borrowed from John Jantsch. John is a brilliant marketer and his writings are rich in common sense regarding marketing and business in general.
